The following position has become available: Lead Professional - At Little Achievers @ Countryfields Nursery , Ramsgreave Hall Farm, Higher Ramsgreave Road, Ramsgreave BB1 9DQ Little Achievers @ Countryfields Nursery is a 75 place Children’s Day Nursery situated in 120 acres of farm land. We are looking for an exceptional leader and Early Years Practitioner with an ability to manage the strategic direction of the setting and the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You must be able to lead and motivate your team of childcare staff, work with a wide range of partner agencies and engage parents with the nursery A minimum of NVQ level 4 in children’s education and learning is essential with a clear demonstration of a commitment to further training. Early Years Professional Status is desirable. All relevant training for the position will be provided as required for the role. A willingness to attend courses and a flexible working approach is essential. The excellent salary package is dependent upon qualifications. A company Pension will be provided also. The position is to start from 1st March 2012 and will be for 40 hours per week. The following positions have become available: Childcare Apprenticeships x 3 1. Preston 2. Blackburn 3. Skelmersdale Rosy Apple Childcare T/A Little Achievers Nurseries are looking for three childcare apprentices to become part of the childcare team in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage. A minimum Maths and English GCSE grade C is essential. All relevant training for the position will be provided as required for the role. A willingness to attend courses and a flexible working approach is essential. The salary is in line with the apprenticeship salary, however professional development planning, with the support of the nursery manager will result in quarterly incremental pay awards, if targets achieved. The positions are to start from February 2012 and will be for 40 hours per week including college attendance.
