Our staff's priority is to ensure your child feels loved, secure and at home. Also that you feel this too. When your child first starts nursery we will wncourage you to visit the nursery with your child for short periods of time until you both feel comfortable with the new setting.

A member of staff will be assigned to your child. Daily reports of your childcare will be available and our staff will discuss any needs with you as required.

Under no circumstances will a child be subject to any form of physical punishment. With the guidance of our behaviour specialist, clear guidelines of acceptable and unacceptable behaviour will be given to all children by the relevant member of staff. This will be in accordance to our policies and procedures.

The administration and running of the nursery is by the Owner, manager and the nursery team. Our staff are all qualified and trained in child-care. As an extra security measure for your child's safety - police clearance on all members of staff will be guaranteed.

In our nursery kitchen, our cook prepares a variety of freshly made and nutritious meals. We will cater for and special dietary needs. We pride ourselves in our excellent menus designed for growing children. We will serve breakfast, lunch and tea. Menus are posted so aprents can see what their child has had on a daily basis.

Sharon Alexander
Managing Director Sharon trained as a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse in 1989 following her General Nurse Training. Sharon now has over 20 years experience of nursing sick children, caring for children with Learning Disabilities, with Behaviour Disorders and Behaviour management. Rosy Apple Childcare Ltd; Little Achievers Nurseries was established by Sharon in 2003 to offer a unique and dynamic bespoke childcare service for children and families offering high quality childcare which supports flexible employment and training opportunities for parents. Incorporating full time, part time, term time, crèche, before and after school care, holiday care along with emergency and contract childcare. Rosy Apple Childcare T/A Little Achievers Nurseries is now a multi award winning organisation on both a local and national Level. Sharon is also an Apprenticeship Ambassador for the National Apprenticeship service.

Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children.

Sharon Fenton is the Director of Early Years Childcare and Education. Sharon is qualified to graduate level in childcare and holds her Early Years Professional Status.

Sharon has over 15 years childcare experience , originallytraining for her NNEB and then through professional development and experience in all aspects of childcare, Business Management and Employment Law, Sharon has gained a senior position within the organisation

Sharon enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children.

Caroline Young
Personal Assistant to the MD & Training Events Co-ordinator Caroline has been employed at Rosy Apple Childcare since commencing her Business Administration apprenticeship in 2006. With her excellent organisation skills Caroline is now responsible for the co-ordination of training events along with supporting the Managing Director in her daily role.

Rachel Farrell
Senior Nursery Administrator Rachel, the youngest member of the team has been employed at Rosy Apple Childcare for several years and was originally employed as an apprentice in Business Administration. Rachel now leads the nursery administration team in the financial and day to day administration of the settings and support of the Lead Professionals.

Emma is our highly qualified and experienced Lead Professional at Little Achievers Day Nursery, Preston. Emma has over 11 year’s childcare experience with all Early Years age groups. Working across all of our settings and company during her employment with Rosy Apple, Emma has gained an understanding of all of our settings and is a highly respected team member. As a graduate, Emma holds the coveted Early Years Professional Status, which is equivalent to that of an Early Years Teacher. Emmas' little boy, who attends one of our nurseries , takes up most of Emmas time outside nursery along with her two dogs. Emma likes to meet with friends and loves going on holiday with her family.

Hi, my name is Linda Kelly and I am the acting Lead Professional at Little Achievers @ Ribbleton Children's Centre. Sharon Fenton who is the Director of Early Year’s Child care support’s me within my role. Previous to that I was deputy Lead professional at Little Achievers Day Nursery, Ribbleton for over 4years and a nursery practitioner at Little Achievers for 2 years before that. I am very familiar with the needs of parents within the Ribbleton community. I hold my NVQ 3 and 4 in childcare and I am currently working towards my Foundation Degree. My name is Deborah Whittle and I am the Lead Professional for Little Achievers @ Headstart Nursery, Preston. I have a degree in child and social care, and I have achieved Early Years Professional Status I lead the Early Years Foundation Stage throughought the nursery, with the support from my highly trained childcare Team. I am responsible for the day to day smooth running of my nursery.

I have been with Rosy apple childcare for the past 2 and half years, I have been in childcare for 22years and have my NVQ level 4, I am studying for my foundation degree at the moment.
