| The snow continues to fall in Ramsgreave, the nursery/farm track remains compacted with ice and has new snow fall on top.
The nursery will re-open on Monday 4th January, as planned, however we advise parents not to use the nursery/farm track with their cars i.e on foot only.
Staff will be posted at the Ramsgreave Road end of the track to walk / pram children to the nursery in the morning. On collection of your child, if you ring the nursery, staff will bring your child to the Ramsgreave Road end of the track. if you are bringing your child to nursery and there is not a staff member, please ring the nursery and a staff member will come and collect your child. The nursery / farm track is not completely safe for vehicles to use at the moment and must not be used by any parents or visitors until Health and safety Risk Assessment carried out by Rosy Apple Childcare senior management say it is safe to do so. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. We have spent many hours during the Christmas break contacting local and national gritting / snow clearing organisations without success. We are continuously informed that there is a national shortage of rock salt, with supplies being reserved for motorway use.
If you wish your child to attend any of our other nurseries for the interim period please contact the nursery lead professionals to make the necessary arrangements: |
