We are situated within Ribbleton Children's Centre and work in partnership with the Sure Start team. We feel that this is a unique quality, as we are able to share resources and have access to a full team of professionals e.g. Health Visitor, Midwife, Outreach Worker, Citizens Advice.
Provided by Sure Start; a fully qualified Early Years Teacher with Early Years Professional Status works within the nursery as the Children's Centre Teacher. The Teacher works, directly with the children and alongside our team. The teacher has a pivotal role working directly with the staff and children to model good practice, positive interactions and high quality play and Early Years Education.
We offer the best start in life for your child as we have highly qualified, experienced and motivated staff. All of our staff are qualified with an appropriate childcare qualification and we have an additional teacher also trained to Early Years Professional Status to work alongside our children's centre teacher.
Children learn through play! We realise how important this is, so all our rooms are set up with all areas of provision accessible to the children. This enables the children to explore at their own pace and gives freedom of choice. We have bright colourful rooms with vibrant displays of children's own work and photographs showing your Childs day.
Each child has a key carer. This special person will build a close relationship with your child and your family to enable a smooth journey through nursery, your child's cherished memories !

| Hi, my name is Linda Kelly and I am the acting Lead Professional at Little Achievers @ Ribbleton Children's Centre. Sharon Fenton who is the Director of Early Year’s Child care support’s me within my role. Previous to that I was deputy Lead professional at Little Achievers Day Nursery, Ribbleton for over 4years and a nursery practitioner at Little Achievers for 2 years before that. I am very familiar with the needs of parents within the Ribbleton community. I hold my NVQ 3 and 4 in childcare and I am currently working towards my Foundation Degree. I have over 12 years working within childcare and bring a wealth of experience with me to Little Achievers @ Ribbleton Childrens Centre .I have a very highly qualified ' experienced and strong team within the nursery ranging from Early Years Teacher, Early Years Professional / teacher and nursery practitioners trained at level 3 and 4, we also have a small number of apprentice trainees and nursery support. We work in close partnership with the childrens centre and are supported by the programme manager / childrens centre teacher too. I am an outgoing, caring person; with a good sense of humour. The care and welfare of your children are , at all times, my absolute priority. |
