Little Achievers in the Park

Little Achievers in the Park

All the staff would like to give you a big warm welcome to Little Achievers in the Park.

Our aim is to provide you with good quality childcare by qualified and experienced staff. We are dedicated to the development of the babies and young children that are in our care.

We are situated within Park Children’s Centre and work in partnership with the Centre’s team. This is an advantage for us as we are able to provide the children and their families with any additional support and advice they may require. The partnership works in both directions, as they also support the setting when needed and allows us access to other professionals e.g. Health Visitors, Midwives, Outreach workers.

All of our staff are qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or above. We also have a teacher within the Children’s Centre who works alongside our staff giving them support where needed.

All of our rooms are set up with all of the areas of provision accessible to all the children. Our baby room is a loving and caring environment. It consists of a quiet area so babies are able to relax and “chill out”. For the more active babies the room offers opportunities to explore and investigate using natural resources. They also have a large outdoor area just for the 0-2year olds which has soft play surfacing throughout enabling babies to investigate safely. Our toddler room 2-3 year olds, is warm and inviting to children and their families. Staff are all dedicated to ensuring the children have a safe, secure and stimulating environment that meets the children’s own individual needs and promoting independence whilst allowing them to take risks with adult support. Our 3-5 year old room is a welcoming, warm, bright and exciting environment. The staff are all friendly and approachable. The children are able to choose freely which activities and areas they wish to play in. We enjoy lots of fun and messy activities, both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor play is accessible at all times throughout the day and all years round come rain or shine.

We have access to a multi-sensory room within the children’s centre which we take small groups of children. We can also access the children centres sensory garden.

We also have an onsite cook who prepares and makes home made fresh food for the children throughout the day, and dietary requirements are catered for whatever they may be.
