Headstart has a homely environment which nurtures every child's individual needs, welcoming all families with open arms. You will be welcomed by our dedicated, committed and friendly staff that are highly qualified to ensure that your child will have the best start in life. Your child will be specified a key carer who will become part of your extended family. All of our staff are trained appropriately in childcare and we also have a graduate member of staff trained to Early Years Professional Status. We have staff carrying out apprenticeship training and a fully qualified cook.
Our nursery provides indoor and outdoor access all year round where the children can experience and explore different types of weather. The children also have the pleasure of planting a variety of fruit and vegetables which they love to eat. Each day is fun filled, with activities planned to suit each childs own individual developmental needs. These activities range from really messy fun or to relaxing in our sensory area with the calm music and bright lights. Alongside the activities for your child we also provide parent social nights for you to meet the other parents in the setting, so that we all become one big happy extended family.

I have been with Rosy apple childcare for the past 2 and half years, I have been in childcare for 22years and have my NVQ level 4, I am studying for my foundation degree at the moment. I am a mum to 4 children 3 are my own and I have a step son their ages range from 18, 14, 12 and 3 years. I enjoy working with children and find it very rewarding. In my spare time I enjoy walking with our family boarder terrier, and visiting castles. |
