| Rosy Apple Childcare scooped the prestigious Medium Employer of the Year accolade at the glittering North West Apprenticeship Awards on Tuesday night.
Together with 23 North West finalists, Rosy Apple Childcare joined the cream of North West businesses at the event, which celebrated the achievements of apprentices and the contribution they make to their employers.
Held at the Midland Hotel in Manchester, the awards were hosted by special guest ITN and ITV Granada presenter, Lucy Meacock.
Rosy Apple Childcare’s application was one of over 283 entries that were submitted from across the North West for the prestigious awards, with 23 finalists selected to compete across the eight categories in the regional heat of the awards.
Currently employing 16 apprentices, Rosy Apple Childcare works closely with Preston College to deliver industry specific training to employed apprentices.

“We are currently looking into developing our own Apprenticeship training within our company and have lots of exciting ideas for this in the pipeline.”
The awards showcased the skills of North West apprentices as teams worked at the event to assist with the catering, provide the floral decorations and put together the entertainment.
